Ministries

At Friendship Baptist Church, we are a church family committed to worshiping and serving Jesus Christ together. We offer ministries for all ages, designed to encourage spiritual growth, foster fellowship, and equip believers to share the Gospel in our community and beyond.

forever young

Forever Young is a fellowship-focused ministry that brings people together for devotion, meals, and meaningful time together. While often enjoyed by our senior adults, this ministry is open to everyone and provides opportunities for encouragement, connection, and Christ-centered fellowship throughout the year.

Family care ministry

The Family Care Ministry serves families during times of loss by providing meals and support following the passing of a loved one. This ministry offers care through prepared meals for families and for gatherings following services, helping to share the love of Christ in practical and meaningful ways. Volunteers are always welcome to assist in this important ministry of care.

Hands of Friendship puppet ministry

Hands of Friendship is a creative ministry that shares the love of Jesus through puppetry, music, and storytelling. Through presentations for children, special events, and outreach opportunities, this ministry seeks to teach biblical truths in a fun, engaging way while encouraging faith and friendship.

Joyful friends of friendship

Joyful Friends of Friendship is an outreach ministry that serves the residents of Rosewood Assisted Living through regular visits, fellowship, meals, and devotion. During each visit, we share encouragement, prayer, and the love of Christ while building meaningful relationships with residents. This ministry also provides meals, gifts, and essential care items as a tangible expression of God’s love. Volunteers and donations are always welcome as we continue to serve and encourage this special community.

children and youth

Friendship Baptist Church is committed to nurturing children and youth as they grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word. Through Sunday School, worship services, Vacation Bible School, and age-appropriate teaching, we seek to encourage young people and support families as they grow together in Christ.

church fellowship

Each month, members and friends of Friendship Baptist Church gather to share a meal, enjoy fellowship, and hear updates about what God is doing in and through our church. These gatherings provide a relaxed opportunity to connect, encourage one another, and grow together as a church family.

online sunday school

Online Sunday School provides weekly Bible teaching for those who are unable to attend in person or prefer to participate remotely. Lessons are shared live on our Facebook page and are also available afterward for viewing on our YouTube channel, offering biblical instruction and encouragement to support spiritual growth throughout the week.

deacon family ministry

The Deacon Family Ministry exists to provide care, encouragement, and support to families within our church. Through prayer, service, and personal ministry, our deacons seek to meet needs and offer spiritual support to the church family.

SonShine club of spartanburg

Friendship Baptist Church is thankful to support SonShine Club of Spartanburg, a nonprofit ministry that serves adults with special needs and their caregivers. Through regular involvement, encouragement, and participation in activities, including devotional time and puppet ministry presentations, we are grateful for the opportunity to share the love of Christ and build meaningful relationships with this community.
